Impossible-ness!

My so called "liquid diet" is going down the drain!

A recap of what I have eaten since the day that post went up.

Pork ball noodles. Steamboat. Wan Tan Mien. Beef noodles. Char Siew / Siew Yuk rice. Lekor. Goreng Pisang. Betsy's home cooked dinner. Smoked chicken sausages & egg.

Quite an achievement right?

I just keep getting hungry. It's almost as if nothing is going into the stomach!

* sighs to self *

Oh well.

Speaking of which, I have been super lazy this semester. For the most of it, I blame the lack of inspiration.

How that ties together remains a mystery still. I am guessing it is just the "forever no mood" situation. I still have yet to come up with my scholarship application essay.

Humm.

Oh right!! I have no clue if vegetarian food is really better for health. But jinx it, as long as it tastes good, makan je lah kan?!

Aiyuh, what the hell lahhh!

I woke up this morning...

And proceeded to weight myself on the digital weighing machine in the room.

As I have been eating way too much for my own good since coming back from Thailand 2 weeks ago, I had to first mentally prepare myself before I learn of the outcome.

*prepares self*

...... 53.5kg!

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!

Mind you, that's first thing in the morning okay! I have not even included my food / liquid intake for the day!

Every sentence from now IS going to end with an exclamation mark because I am actually screaming out from inside my heart!

ARGHH!! It is so easy to put on weight for me, it is so freaking unfair!!

Hence, I am going on a crash liquid diet until I at least lose 1.5kg's back to my usual weight which is by means, still heavy considering my height!

Aiyuh, goodbye food!

天下没有...

...gahhh, I give up! :(

Because I do not have the Chinese character writing software in my computer, every time I type anything in Chinese, I would have to Google it word-for-word. Imagine the effort and energy of the human brain it consumes! This time, the sentence is just too long for me to even try.

Anyway, the sentence I had wanted to write was "There is no such thing as an ugly woman, only lazy woman". Very famous phrase all those Taiwanese beauty talk shows would use every single time it comes to a cosmetic / make up related episode.

While I personally consider applying make up a total chore, by which I mean, waking up an extra 10 /15 mins each day to get ones face nicely covered with foundation and yada yada.. Why not just sleep that extra few minutes and spare the concealer for those eye bags? Right? RIGHT?!

And then also, having to spend the extra few minutes cleaning off the make up after a long day at work or at school when one can just slip into bed immediately without using any sort of cosmetic product!

The amount of time one saves from applying and removing make up, one can definitely benefit in paying off sleep debts.

Kinda ironic how I am writing about this now when I just got back from a free Bobbi Brown make up session @ MV's.. :)

Okay, I have gone far from the initial intention of this post.. So here goes.

Nevertheless.

While (you're just like me and agree that make up is a chore) you still wanna look presentable during the day by adding some color to your face but simply is just too lazy to go through the whole moisturizer, liquid foundation, light powder, shadow, liner.. regime, good news!

Lip gloss to the rescue yo! xP

The simplest form of any sort of make up! Just smack some on those lips, and you're ready to roll. Takes no longer than one can count to 3.

And wala! Instantaneous color to brighten up all your worries.. Okay lah, a bit exaggerated but.. lazy and still wanna look good then how? Like that lah!

So. Introducing to you... *drum rolls*

Hoho! Now lazy lazy also can look good!! :)

What say you? TruColors, anyone??

Random pieces of thoughts

First of all, thank you Wesley, Mandy, Kevin & Ivy for standing by me today!

I really would not have known what to do if you people weren't there today! For the first time, well not really "first time" per say lah, I felt so secure with Wes around, he's growing up so fast; he's replacing Heng's presence of being the protective one without me noticing it thus far. I should pick up my act and be a better sister!

As for the rest of you people, really! just not walking away was already gou yi si liao! :)

~

Everyone has problems of their own, whether we choose to say it, hide it or ignore it, it is entirely up to us. But.. when we transfer / misplace / convert the anger onto other un-related things, then it isn't right for sure.

And I have been doing just that, a lot lately.
Basically, being an ass sums it all up. Le` sigh!

Ai Li Ng! Stop being an ass... And apologies goes to all whom I've been terrible towards.

Food for thought perhaps?

If sorry really solves problems, the world would be a better place, "sorry" is so convenient a word that even I myself sometimes laugh at the usage of it. Then I'll ask, what should replace "sorry"?

Answer: Don't do things that require one to say sorry!

..but on the contrary, no one is perfect right, how to not do things that'll require saying sorry at all?

Yesterday, Sharon Kong came sailing! xP Too cute even though she was scared to death at some points in time. Too cute..

Just too cute.

Come again okayyyy? I'll organise a fun and easy day just for you. Promise next time it'll be "just tumpang on the boat, as in just sit there doing absolutely nothing except maybe enjoy the wind, the sky, the deep blue sea..."

~

As Sharon thinks she is the only victim of print screening, YOU'RE NOT!

Here we have an example of Mike unleashing his creative side:

Stick man devil!

Creative sangat!

I am okay, thanks for asking.

Something to Share

In times of need or desperation or despair, we sometimes lose sight of things dear to us.. We sometimes get lost, we lose touch of reality. Life is such.

Today, I told someone "Pain is necessary for us to grow", as much as I hate pain, I really want to DO believe that it does mold us into better people.

Below is something I received in my inbox today and I thought to myself, "life may be a b*tch, a pain in the ass", but... let' have a read first!

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive..
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less

You have two choices...smile and close this page, or pass this along to someone else to spread the fun.

~

I had 2 choices, and I chose to share this with you! :) Have a good day people! <3

Today..

I took on one new challenge.

But judging from the responses & reactions of those around me,
it didn't seem like a very brilliant idea..

Then again, I have made up my mind.

I WILL DO MY BEST
&
MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THIS.

So even if it isn't the brightest of ideas, please support and guide me from time to time. Can?

That's all I ask.

I will put in double the effort and learn. So, cut me some slack and... how about some constructive criticisms and skip the usual ' pat and on the back and "I feel sorry for you" comments'??

Only if it's possible lah. If is it too much to ask for, then buat tak tau pun I takkan kisah. xP

`````
Is it possible to want something so badly..
.. that we believe it is really happening??
** I read in one of the newspapers a few days back about taking 'things' for websites and posting them on blogs. Apparently, you can get sued for doing so if you do not 'give the original author due credit'.
I know we're taught the same thing for our lab reports and stuff, but.. it does make sense lah. So.
The above comic was obtained from cartoonstock.com!
`````
Some may have already heard this from me. Some may have not, but fret not. You are about to hear it anyways.

Yours truly- me, has decided to cut spending and save more to travel more this year. Really! So, anyone up for trips, nudge me! Literally.

And for that same reason, I am still contemplating as to whether or not to do internship this year. It is, my final year after all.

Oh, time flies, doesn't it? It is kinda .. ... .. scary.

Monday, March 16

Back from the land up North.

Thai Nationals in Pattaya!

7 races in 2 days.
2, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3, 5 (discard)

Class : One Design Platu
Position : Pit / Piano

- 2nd overall -

Hmm. So much to say and yet, so few words to describe.

It was good racing. Didn't learn as much as I had expected to but it was still all good.

Now it is back to school.
Note: This is said with more enthusiasm than ever before.

I have to say, university days are probably the best days we'll ever have. <-- The one thing I really came to realize after this trip.

Imagine not having to get unpaid leave, imagine taking off for events or other important events without needing permission from your employers, and all that comes along when one starts working.

So, no matter what, be it work / assignments / long lectures / assessments / journals etc, let us all do our best and enjoy our university days never the less.

Full steam ahead. Let's go!!

Thursday, March 12

Slap me!

No wait...

Hold on a sec

.
.
.
.

Please.. Don't.
:' (

Gah!

I know the last thing I should be doing now is blogging. But really cannot help it liao lah. Stare at the screen also nothing is coming out of my brain. Try thinking harder also, empty.

I probably should go and pack soon too.

-_-''

I think I am purposely depriving myself of sleep, as of now.

Damn weird.

Wednesday, March 11

So adorable!

Too freaking adorable!

And I blame it all on C the evil HY.
-_-''

But no.

Despite me wanting to own a gadget as adorable as that, please do not get it as a gift for me for my 21st birthday / Christmas gift etc .. because I simply do not need it.

Yes, I have decided to be practical and only purchase things I really need, ie, necessities from now on!! :P

I had so much to talk about prior to starting this post but everything seem so trivial now thinking back because...

.... Thailand is just less than 2 days away!

34 hours to be exact, before boarding my MAS flight to Bangkok!
Wish lah, wish harder that you had my life!
It might just come true.

Hahahhhahhahahahhhhahhahaaaa...

Tuesday, March 10

Volleyball!

These were taken some time back. But I just got the photos few days ago.

Kena trash until every single memory of it is repressed!
Can't even remember the name of the event but it was somewhere in Putrajaya and it was some time back in January, 10th day of CNY, I think.

- Blames Terence (the male in blue) for the late photos -

So.. here they are lah!

" This girl will never give up a chance to post photos of herself! "

Yes! That one you got right! :P

3 days to go! Woooooooooot.

Jaga Tepi Kain Orang

Lesson No 1

Take notes!

Jaga Tepi Kain Orang translated literally into English means, take care side cloth people.
Makes no sense at all because by now, one should know that direct translations do not always work!

Except for the following example:

Walk gently in Canto would be -> "hang heng heng", or in Mandarin -> "zhou qing qing". No?

That aside, coming back to the cloth & side & people. Cutting the nonsense short, that proverb basically means "to mind one's own business".

If people don't want to tell, then don't ask.
If people don't want to to reveal, respect that.
If people don't say, don't push them to speak.
If people want to play hide and seek, let them.
If people want to keep things to themselves, give them their privacy!

Take note already or not?

.... but if kepoh, how ah?? :)

Talking in Codes.

Uiyohhh!

"1, 2 (720), 1"

Mike's hiding under the sail - takut kena hujan!, just in case you were wondering.

Bangga sial!

Wish you knew what we're talking about or not??
That's why YOU must come sailing! Ok, no wait. No no..

Haha. Too bad for you lah. I am so satisfied and happy with my current crew I don't think I wanna exchange or replace any of them...

... at the moment lah, that is. If any of them decide they wanna consistently "ploop" into the water, I guess I will have to replace that person then. Hahaha!

** You ppl! Bangga or not? So need to train harder liao horr!! /love /<3

4 days to Thailand. Wooot!
!

Sailing in the Rain

Yeah, as the title suggests.

Today, we sailed in the rain. :)

(Will only post photos tomorrow cause I super malas now)

Someone went "ploop" into the water too!

What else?

It was cold, but pretty awesome fun we had.

````
I went to Mid Valley twice this week and bought nothing at all!
Can you believe it?!
````

My elbow has been hurting me a bit as of lately. I wonder what's it up to.

Ahhh, another busy week and it'll be my weekend in Thailand!

Super cannot wait!

Gahhhaha. Bye!

Reasons..

.. to procrastinate.

wooot!

I like. Do you? :)

Wednesday, March 4

When I stress...

"Wah, I didn't know you know Chinese!"

Nah! Proof.

Ai Li Ng can write Chinese okay!!
Bu yao kan bu qi wo hor` XD

(the only reason "bu yao kan bu qi wo" is written in han yu pin yin is because my lappie doesn't hv any Chinese character writing software)

K. Bye.

Tuesday, March 3

Happy Birthday Ivy Choong!

** Aiyer, passed midnight edi, so it's belated, but still... :P

HAPPY 22nd IVY CHOONG LILI!
GOD BLESS ALWAYS!
<3

I blame my camera for the poor quality photos. I need a new one.

And this was yesterday. People seemed to like the green combo a lot. I, don't fancy it much but it is a change. Guess we'll hv more green from now onwards.

Next week, it'll be bumblebee combo! Hoho.

Sunday, March 1

Oh, Hi!

It's been a week already, talk about 'time flies', it really is flying by.

With 2 assignments due this week, and another 2 assessments to prepare for in the same week.. I wonder how it's going to be, once again. God bless me!

Anyhow, this was yesterday...

Let's see what's in for today and for the rest of the week.
