Obsessed with Daiso

Mandy, yes and it is all your fault!

Today, I got myself a box separator at RM5! Technically speaking, everything in Daiso is RM5. While some items are a real bargain at RM5, some things are not. You just really have to use your brain to manually think "Is this pen really worth RM5??", that sorta thing.

Would've been great if they had a pink one but I'll make do. The only flaw about this container is that I can't fit items that are too 'big'. Don't argue with me, it's just what it is.

So as you can see, I am using it to store my earrings for when I travel. The first shot is merely to show off how many pairs of dangly earrings I own, I have ten dozens more studs which are stowed away in my pink heart storage boxes.

And sigh (a very loud one). I lost one side of my real gold heart stud which was a present from my dad for my 12th birthday or something. I don't even know where or when it came off. :(

Should attempt to resume what I should be finishing off before I head to bed... like waxing my legs. T__T

You know how when you have too many things to consider / mention / rationalize / share, it all becomes one huge puddle?

Like.. how one tiny cloud connects with another and another and another and eventually becomes one huge storm cloud and down pours the rain??

Okay lah, before I turn to sound all melancholy, I shall stop with the description. Basically, all I am trying to say is that I have a lot of different topics to talk about today and so yes, you have been forewarned, it is another verbal diarrhea post.

Sailing talk:

I was randomly reading some news articles about the AG and came across one that states our sailing contingent is expecting a total haul of 5 medals! First thought that came to my mind, "Wah, .... seriously?" =o

Not that I didn't have the faith but 5 medals, that's quite a bit. It was a double "Wah, .... seriously?" when I saw who was expected to produce to medals. -___-

And so, I have been religiously following the results here. And lo and behold, it sure doesn't look too good so far with 4 races completed.

Well, all the best you guys, better start bucking up if 5 medals was what you 'promised' to deliver!!

Personality talk:

Why do I so consistently contradict myself? I don't feel real anymore sometimes lah sometimes.

Do you ever experience periods in time whereby you just don't feel like interacting but you also don't want to shut yourself from the rest of the world and by doing so, you end up being a pissy human being to those who so innocently try to hold a conversation with you?

Or am I just plain weird?

Travel and living:

I believe I am a amazing packer! Seriously. But there's a problem... I always end up with boring pieces of clothing. Then again, traveling light and comfort is number one.

Okay, Scottie just came in and is staring at me with his puppy eyes so I am gonna cut this short and go play with him now.

Going Through Old Albums; Nostalgic

I don't know if it occurs to you too but every single time I look at old photos, I feel an extreme sense of fondness to the past, which makes me want to go back in time.

I sometimes feel the world resolves around me. But I know, and we all do, that that is not the case. It is therefore fascinating for me (at least) when things go my way without much of a hitch. It is because of this that I know I am truly blessed. =)

Today, I saw an old couple holding hands and sharing laughters as they strolled through the pretty gardens of Huntington's Library.

I made a wish as they walked pass me probably too absorbed in their own blissfulness to notice I was looking at them intently.

My wish... was for more marriages to have this sorta ending.

Then maybe, perhaps, I can start believing in happily ever after's once again.

Top to bottom: Mint Green polish from The Face Shop (similar to the Mint Green one from Skin Food minus the glitter). Loving the color; application was lousy. But for the price, one shouldn't expect too much. Good buy though, overall.

Bought 2 other colors from Skin Food too. These purchases were made before I went to KT. It's obvious I am into greens at the moment. Just cleared my nails off the black polish, still contemplating if I should do the light green before dinner.

Can't decide if I should keep the bangs or let them grow. I must really like the bangs because most people I know tries it once and allows it to grow into a side swept fringe pretty soon. I have had my bangs for 8 months already!

Found some Ciba Vision lenses in my closet, belum expired and amazingly are of the correct power. I once hated CV lenses because I had problems taking them out but now that I don't have a problem with that, CV lenses are the best yet!

Regular update

It amazes how I can survive with limited choice of clothing for 2 entire weeks - 5 tees, 2 shorts, 3 pieces of identical event shirts and one long pants, but when I am back at home, it's such a pain to decide what to wear and I always end up with this conclusion:

I NEED TO GO SHOPPING BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR!

It has to be the most flawed statement I can ever make.

It also amazes me as to how much more disciplined I am when I am traveling.

3 step facial regime - Cleanse, tone, moisturize, - check, I even did a mask!

Shampoo and conditioner and leave in conditioner - check!

Lotion before bed every night - check!

Back at home...

Cleanse - that's it.

Shampoo - that's it.

Lotion - what lotion?

Pffft, maybe I should just not stay at home..
