WTF / -_-

"Bloody hell! You try repeat what you just said again!"

I had no intentions of writing about what happened back at home today one. Cause I felt that as long as those involved have 'repented' and that now things are clear. I'll just let it pass...

But noooooo, he (the dad) had the nerve to come and ask me, "Why were you so pissed earlier?" Still. Nvm. So I replied saying, ".... because he (Wesley) was darn irresponsible, and he (Wesley) should've known better."

Wakao! He (the dad) some more can stare me in the face with that very knowledgeable face and said,

"I HEARD YOU WERE ALSO VERY IRRESPONSIBLE YOURSELF."

F*ck lah! You tell me, which part?! You tell me and see. Which part of what I did was irresponsible? Bloody hell.

I very lazy wanna tell the whole story in proper exact details but basically this is what that happened lah... You can skip this part totally lah. Just note that I am pissed, sangat right now. Period.

This morning, before I left for class, I told the Grandpa that I'll fetch Wes after my 2pm class. Since Wes finishes at 1.50 and he usually hangs around with his friends for a good 5-10 mins anyway. Also, I was thinking that Forensic lecture would end early.

So class ended at 2 sharp, I rushed to the car park, drove up and practically rushed all the way to his school to fetch him. Time on the clock, 2.05pm! How long would he have waited? Do the math. 15 mins, tops!

And then guess what... 2.10pm, where's he? No where to be seen. So I called home to see if he has somehow miracoulsly found his way home. People at home confirmed, nope, he's not home.

So how? Natural tendency.. Panic lah! "Oh shitttt, what happened to him, where did he go?!" So I called the mom.. Wrong choice. Lagi ramai orang panic! So nvmd.

2.20pm. Wanted to go into his school to find him already, but dunno what class is he in also. So called the mom again, she also don't know! So how? She asked me to go home first. So I go home lah!

Then guess what! As soon as I got into the garage, the Grandpa opened the door and exclaimed, rather calmly for my liking, saying "Oh, he just got back, he walked."

I was like " WTBF?!" (what the bloody fuck) and it was sure as hell written all over my face lah.

Then there was an exchange of some not very nice terms that lasted for a good 2/3 mins and doors slammed. Then the mom came home and reprimanded us both lah.

Okay fine, I accept the fact that it was my fault for the fact that I did not inform Wes that I'll be fetching him. But.. I sincerely do not think that that's anyhow related to irresponsibility on my side. Either way, I did go to fetch him and was at tops, 15 mins late!

Bloody hell! I kenot tahan being blamed for something I clearly believe is not my fault. But I am just too tired to argue it out. Besides, it'll do no one any good.

So... letting it all go here... Bahhh!

Just one last time. F*cccccccccccccccck. Bye.

Tai Tai's can dance!

I had to drag myself out of bed this morning, get dressed, find my shoes which I have not touched for God knows how long and pack.

It's been pretty long since I last found waking up in the morning to be such a chore.

When the first alarm rang at 8.30am, I snoozed once. I returned to the coziness my bed had to offer with the hopes of continuing whatever dream I was dreaming because as far as I could remember, it was a sweet one. But... never really got back to that dream.

Anyway... eventually I got up before the snooze time was due, got ready, took the car keys and drove to the PW. Was hoping along the way that I wouldn't get a parking slot so that I can go home and chill... or grab some wholesome breakfast for a change. But nooo, there were so many empty slots today!

The 30 mins on the treadmill almost took my life! Gosh I hate running. And walking for that matter. But it felt pretty good afterwards lah.

.... I need new running shoes! :)

Aku sudah tahu!

You know how some of the really Chinese Chinese speaking people speak Malay?!

Let's just take the example above. Given it being said out loud by a Chinese who's purely Chinese speaking, it would sound something like this:

"Aku sudah taufuu!"

Haha, okay lah. That is something I think only I will find funny. But nevermind. I've learnt how important it is to entertain oneself in times like these. Still dreading uni and the work load but it doesn't look so gloomy after today's class.

Anyway, the top part was just me being purely random, for the sake of it. But I meant it when I said, "Aku sudah tahu!"

Yup.

I already know!!

I think I finally found out what is wrong with me! BUT.. of course I am not going to tell you what is wrong with me lah! Who on Earth goes around telling people, "Hey! Look, I am only 155cm!! I am so darn short, faster come laugh at me!"

Right?! :)

So yeah. I know what my problem is already. And that is something I am going to have start working on.

I've only got a few shots of Langkawi because my darn camera failed me! And among some of those photos are my bunk / cabin / bedroom on the boat. I'll post them up when I feel like it lah. Maybe never, haha. But we'll see.

Langkawi was fun! Made new friends, meet new people, sailed with a pro, learnt new stuff, also meet up with some older team mates, which is a good thing, because then I feel like I've achieved so much more than they have.

*Oh, I am pure evil... Gua gua gua*

Anyway, yeap yeap. But for now, I believe it is better I pay more attention to school. Hence, no more skipping classes because it's FIVE subjects this time. FIVE. No kidding.

And need I not curse myself for this, but I have no effin day off this time. My time table sucks!

*breath in breath out x 3*

So yeah, that's about it.

By the way, I really am only 155cm tall, but that has absolutely nothing got to do with my problem.

Things Ai Li need.

She needs to get back into the university groove fast or risk for the worse to happen.

She needs to complete her unpacking cause it's taking up too much room space.

She needs to stop acting, behaving like a stalker... get all that out of the system quickly!
-just 'FB stalking' lah, nothing serious, will cause no harm to anyone one.

She needs some peace because almost everything is impossible under such circumstances.
-the kitchen is apparently under major construction, that's why.

She needs to visit the dentist! Omg. She has a feeling it's not going to be a nice visit. Damn them wisdom tooth / teeth!

She needs to start thinking again... about stuff(s).

She needs to hit the gyms. Big time!

She needs to come up with her to.do.list or else nothing will get done.

She needs more quality me time, but she has a feeling that's exactly what she would not be getting for the next 4 months or so.

She needs strength, wisdom, courage, and confidence to get through this!

Dear Lord, please help. Amen.

It's back to uni at 8am tmr. I dread. Totally. Can you sense?

24 hours makes 1 day

Literally.

** Grammar wonder... Should it be
a) 24 hours make 1 day?
b) 24 hour makes 1 day?
c) 24 hours makes 1 day?

Yeah! So although I just posted my previous post like, 2 hours ago.. This is my Sunday's post! I like to write, you like to read, no problem lah. If you don't like to read then why are u here in the first place?

So anyway, after I was done with my packing, finally thank God!, I went dramawiki-ing! Can be very fun I tell you, very random lah, but fun!

So I was browsing from dramas to dramas and I came across this!!

DID YOU KNOW DID YOU KNOW DID YOU KNOW DID YOU KNOW
?!?!

Read!

Also, did you know Korea's also coming up with their version of Meteor Garden?! Oh gosh, oh goshhhh! I sense a lot of drama-ing to do not too long from now...

Hehe!

See you peeps when I get back on Sunday, or more so, see you peeps on Monday in Substance. Oh wait, more so, see those of you who will be in Substance lecture next Monday.

Bye!

Pack!

This is probably the first time I'm being so reluctant to pack my luggage. Not that I am not excited about the trip... but I am just plain lazy, -or maybe one would say "fickle minded", by the end of the post.

I initially had wanted to bring along my lappie, but now, I'm thinking against it. Lazy want to carry the extra weight lah.

I've been trying to pack since this evening but everything I take out and put on my bed, ends up going back into my cupboard because, "I lazy want to carry extra weight".

So I've cut down from 8 tops (for my one week stay in Langkawi) to 6. And now, I feel like cutting down even more, because I'm expecting to get at least a team shirt and a regatta-t too.

I was thinking of bringing along my new pink Polo sweater but am also deciding against it now because a friend from Singapore is going to pass me a jacket.

Was supposed to bring along my sleeping bag too, cause I'll be 'living' on the boat through out my stay this time. Before you go "Wahhh, so nice... Like cruise ah?!" I would like to tell you: No, it's not THAT cool. But I am hoping it isn't gonna be THAT bad either lah. It was among the options to help cut costs because I am SELF SPONSORED this time! Ugh.

A sleeping bag is going to take up so much space. Aduiii...

I usually always bring along with me 2 pairs of shoes, and my slippers, because one cannot live without flip flops. One- my sailing shoe, and another for formal functions ie prize giving, but this time, I feel like just bringing along my faithful pair of black slippers and my sailing shoes because I cannot not bring them along.

Oh, and I haven't even gotten started with my toiletries!!! Sunblock, shower foam, shampoo, facial cleanser, toner, cotton pads, moisturiser, lotion, conditioner, leave on hair conditioner... etc etc... Oh goshh.

Then there's my screwed up camera too! The battery keeps 'dying off' after every 3 days or so regardless of whether I've been using it or not. Should I or should I not bring it along? Kenot not bring also! Cause I need to take tonnes of photos and post them up on Facebook when I get back so that I can make some people grow green with envy! I was referring to Heng lah anyways.

He claims he isn't getting enough sun in the States and would like to purchase a Sun from Walmart, if only they sold it. So, a request from the nicest sister ever, do send him a drawing of your own sunshine to his email / Facebook (if that's possible). Show him some loveeee will ya?

Okay lah okay lah, I think I'm done complaining and I should get back to packing.

Just one last thing, I also kena rejected!!! I was referring to the subject enrollment on myPride lah.. Aduiiii again, means I have to go and register againnnn.

Sheeshhh`

Friday, January 2

Because I got tempted.

The thought of writing a review for 2008 did come across my mind, after all, it's been a crazily wonderful year. One of the most exciting, by far, I'd say. But every time I came close to writing, I just could never really pen it down.

But then after reading Horny's 08->09 review, I thought to myself, "This is just too interesting lah, cannot miss out". So here goes (not in chronological order yeah, memory not very good nia)...

To begin with, 01.01.08 was spent with the mom on Tioman. Was supposed to be back in KL by then, but thanks to the Monsoon, we ended up extending our stay and celebrated our New Years on the beautiful sandy beach of Japamala.

Then it was Tioman again with the gang, it was nothing but superb lah, we so have to make that a tradition! Travel to a new place every year, even after we graduate!! Because I just love each and everyone of you people.

Malacca...

Port Dickson...

The family trip to Cambodia...

Then there was RLIR. It was
the event lah I'd say. A lot to boast about... too much to boast about. :)

New Zealand, though we did not do well at all, it's the experience that counts lah right!

* One tiny "About Me" episode. I went for the Volvo World Youth event back in 2005 in Busan, Korea. I never really announced this to anyone or gave any special attention to it because I did
worse than terrible in that event.. I came back second last of the fleet of 31 entries. So yeah.

And it was even published in the papers! I have no idea how the reporters got that piece of info but I guess nothing is impossible. Star Metro (Feature), December 11th, 2006 to be exact. You go find lah if you want to. And yes, I do have a copy of it. Keeps sake.

Reason of disclosure? To remind self that it is more important to learn from failures than to dwell in them, and for that matter, to dwell in failures for too long. So yep.

Also, Merdeka Race... It was good fun to have u two come along! This year again okay?! :)

Then there was Raja Muda, nothing spectacular but again, it's the experience that counts.

Then of course, there's also the usual sleepless nights, ERB's, assignments, reports, colloquium, movie reviews... and yada yada lah.

Heng... left to study in the States.

Birthdays and celebrations... One too many!

Dengue. Bad bad experience, horrible! But thank you all once again who visited me in the hospital and who sent me text messages and for everything else.

The Beijing Olympics!! *makes me wanna cry with pride though I cannot seem to explain why*

All the fighting, arguing, waiting for emails, and all that did not turn out well.

Actually working for the first time.

Getting accepted for internship and then later rejecting the offer... :X

Phew. So many things happened! Apart from the above, there's also meeting new people, trying new stuff, starting a club, threading, mani's and pedi's, online shopping... etc. Whether it was good or bad, regardless of the outcome(s), all I have to say about 2008 is that, it's been a great year...

And I am certainly looking forward to another great year, and of course.. many more to come!! Love.
